Our immediate focus is the recently acquired bornite-chalcopyrite copper-gold-silver property; the “Bornite Project,” in Oregon.
Ameriwest plans to fast-track the Bornite Project through exploration and permitting, with the future goal of developing a 1,000-ton-per-day underground copper mine.
The Bornite Project, Oregon
Historically proposed as an underground copper mine located 50 miles east of Salem, Oregon. In the 1990’s Plexus Resources quantified a significant mineral asset consisting of a breccia pipe deposit prospective for copper iron sulfide mineral (Cu5FeS4) also known as Bornite or “Peacock Ore” due to its iridescent blue, purple, and gold tarnish.
Thompson Valley, Arizona
A prospective lithium sedimentary deposit with surface or near-surface exposures of lithium-bearing clays located in central Arizona. Historic and recent sampling indicate lithium grades similar to those found in clay deposits in Clayton Valley, Nevada. The potential exists for a significant lithium deposit, subject to exploration success.
Railroad Valley, Nevada
The Valley features closed-basin characteristics with underlying brine aquifers, and volcanic calderas in the vicinity acting as the source of sediments hosting lithium and boron. The deposit has the potential to be a long-term source of domestic critical minerals, subject to exploration success.
